Messaging Policy

Kointent provides an in-platform messaging system to enable safe, transparent communication between Advertisers and Creators. This policy governs how all parties may use that system.

1. On-Platform Communication Requirement

All negotiations, agreements, deliverables, and payments related to gigs posted on Kointent must take place through the Kointent platform. Moving transactions off-platform undermines the trust and safety infrastructure we provide.

2. Prohibited Content

• Sharing personal contact information (phone numbers, WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, email addresses, Discord handles)
• Requests or suggestions to pay or be paid outside the platform
• Links to external payment processors or money transfer services
• Spam, harassment, or threatening language
• Discriminatory, hateful, or sexually explicit content
• Sharing malware, phishing links, or suspicious URLs

3. Automated Detection

Kointent employs automated systems that scan messages in real time for off-platform contact attempts, suspicious links, and policy violations. Flagged messages are reviewed by our moderation team.

4. Consequences of Violations

• First offense: Warning and message removal
• Second offense: Temporary account suspension (7 days)
• Third offense: Permanent account ban and forfeiture of any pending balances

5. File Sharing

You may share images (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP), PDF documents, and short MP4 videos up to 10MB in size for legitimate campaign-related purposes such as brand briefs, creative assets, and content drafts.

6. Record Keeping

All messages are retained for 12 months for dispute resolution and compliance purposes. By using the messaging system you consent to this retention.

To report a conversation that violates this policy, use the "Dispute" button within the conversation, or contact support@kointent.com.
